During the summer Touch TD’s core staff successfully participated in the UK’s first outing of a new project management mechanism and formal qualification process called Project Management for Sustainable Development (PM4SD). This exciting initiative is seeking to ensure that tourism projects are designed and managed more sustainably and build a stronger focus on achieving and delivering results, rather than purely looking at the parameters of time and cost. The course and qualification are given accreditation by APMG, who also accredit PRINCE2.
PM4SD is the brainchild of Touch TD associate, Silvia Barbone. For more information on this rapidly emerging initiative, have a look at www.festfoundation.eu.
